I purchased the iron after hearing about it on the internet. I really like how it goes up and down. I use it mostly for quilting. I like to iron and sew long strips of fabric together and turn the seams in one direction. Now I can iron as far as I can go, and the automatic lift does the trick for me. I don’t have to worry about it scorching the fabric or the ironing board. When you quilt, sometimes you have a tendency to drop the iron or slide it over. When I heard about the up and down feature I really thought it was quite a boon.

I like how it raises itself up, and it handles very well. When you’re quilting you’re always handling the iron. When I saw it at the quilting convention I was quite impressed with it. I like the convenience that the raised legs add to my ironing. My friends love it too. They are wondering where they can get it. My friends got a Rowenta and they must have paid 150 dollars for it. Others thought they paid too much for it; more people are more impressed with my iron. Sometimes I share this iron with seven other women in my quilting guild, and we are all happy with it. I love it… It’s a great idea. The best thing about it is that my cat jumps on the ironing board, and before it used to be sitting up, and now I don’t have to worry about it getting knocked off the ironing board or hurting my cat. I like that you guys protect the iron with a warranty, and I also like the really large water tank. I hate those irons with the tanks that are so little, and you have to keep filling it up all the time. As soon as I go home, I go to my sewing room and start quilting. Good irons and good sewing machines - I don’t mind spending money on them because they are my tools.

I saw it demonstrated on tv. I liked the idea of how you didn’t have to sit it up. I have arthritis on my hands so I really like that feature. I am also into sewing and that was really helpful. Compared with previous iron , this iron stands up on its own. I wanted it for the convenience of it. I still have my old iron, but I like this a lot better.
